We’re looking for a Facilities Manager!

This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of this country’s only working example of a playhouse dating from the Regency period. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance schedule around a busy programme of events whilst balancing the Health and Safety operational requirements.

Working with the Head of Operations to support Theatre Royal’s ambitions to achieve Net Zero by working across the organisation to reduce our environmental impact.

The post holder is also responsible for forging and maintaining business relationships with external contractors and the National Trust, covering the requirements of a Grade 1 heritage building.

The ideal candidate is a practical, people person with a can-do attitude and an interest in finding ways to reduce the organisation’s carbon footprint.
